This musical was written by Stephen King and John Mellancamp and premiered at the Alliance Theatre in 2012. It is a story about brotherly love and conflict spanning generations. The music was produced by T Bone Burnett and the musical directed by Alliance Theatre Artistic Director Susan Boothe. The show has toured as a music show in the years since it premiered.
Tolin FX provided all of the on stage bullet hits for this show. Two characters required gunshots to the head and one character shot in the chest. We invented a 2 shot rig for this using miniature pneumatics. The rigs were hidden under prosthetics so that the audience could see the entrance hole in the forehead.
