Starring Robert Englund, this feature film is a suspense thriller about a group of actors becoming possessed by the play they are working on. Directed by Ben Samuels and produced by Brian Hartman, the entire film was shot in Pittsburgh primarily at Hartwood Acres.
We coordinated all of the fx makeup for this movie, and there were plenty. Starting with tracking a scar that comes and goes and has a couple stages on Robert Englund’s face. And we turned Pittsburgh legend Bingo O’Malley into an ancient sage warlock. We also got to do a number of cool physical blood effects including a bleeding book and we used one of our Squib FX rigs on Robert Englund!! We also built a couple of cool fx props, including a red hot glowing (LED) rubber fire poker that was used to burn out someone’s tongue (by you guessed it- Freddy Kruger)!
