Tug of War is Barbara Gaines’ epic anit war translation of Shakespeare’s War of the Roses. Civil Strife combines Henry 6, part 2 and 3 along with Richard the third as the second half of the series produced by Chicago Shakespeare Theatre.
Tolin FX constructed the largest blood delviery system we’ve ever devised. Using over 80 gallons of stage blood nightly we were asked to construct a 30′ tall blood wall that would illustrate the MANY deaths in the show. And then at the close of the show, we were to wash all of the blood away in one huge wash.
